Happy New Year!! 2025 is in full swing and our Church is buzzing with activity.
OUR REST HOME MINISTRIES are underway and meet as follows: Tarboro Health and Rehab in Tarboro, NC meets at 10:30 am on the First Monday of every month and the Bryan Center in Scotland Neck meets on the first Tuesday at 11:00 am. Please check with us if you are interested in helping with these ministries as Covid sometimes keeps us from going.
MEN’S AND WOMEN’S MINISTRIES meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm. The women meet in the Fellowship Hall with the men meeting in the church in the Ash Street Chapel in the church building. Light refreshments for all follow these meetings.
MOVIE NIGHT is in the Fellowship Hall on the third Friday night of each month. The movie begins at 7:00 pm, so come early to get your popcorn, snacks, and drinks. All movies are Christian family movies, so bring out the entire family, kids, grandkids, neighbors, and friends. This event is free to everyone.
COMMUNITY DAY will be scheduled for a day in the future, usually sometime in April. Stay tuned for that information.
COFFEE SHOP MINISTRY is held every Saturday morning from 9:00 am – Noon, with the last Saturday featuring a Cruise In for vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles. Come and have a FREE cup of coffee and a danish and fellowship in our Fellowship Hall here at the Church. All are welcome!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Bible study is held every Wednesday night in the Fellowship beginning at 6:30 pm. Bring the kids and come and enjoy this weekly bible study.
HOOKED ON JESUS PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY is a non-denominational group who crochet prayer shawls for those in need, or those who just wish to celebrate someone. This is a monthly meeting, on the 4th Monday of every month, at 10:30 am, in the Fellowship Hall. You don’t have to crochet to be a member of this group. Come and enjoy the fellowship, prayer, and of course, lunch afterwards!!
Spring Revival will take place on a date to be determined in the future. Stay tuned for the date of this event.
HOT DOG SUPPER & AUCTION
Join us on Friday evening, April 11, 2025, at 5:30 pm until, for a Hot Dog Supper and Auction. Adults are $10 a plate, and kids 10 and under are $5.00. Pay at the door, come in and enjoy your supper and the Auction. We will be auctioning off several baskets of goodies as well as cakes and pies. All proceeds will be used for our Go-Offering for Missions. Thank you in advancae for your participation.
